Sopranist Elisabeth Breuer @ GIBS
On Wednesday, October 19th the year 7 music students and class 1a students were treated to a very special private concert by professional opera sopranist Elisabeth Breuer! Students were able to hear Ms. Breuer perform two songs, which were accompanied by our very own Ha An Nguyen 7b on the piano. Following the performance, students had many questions for Elisabeth regarding her training growing up, her practice schedule, her experiences travelling on the road as a professional musician, and many more! Ms. Breuer was in Graz to perform with the Musikverein für Steiermark’s presentation of the Brahms Requiem with the L’Orfeo Barockorchester.
