European Elections – Panel Discussion
As a warm-up for the upcoming EU Elections, 6b and the Political Studies course attended a Kleine Zeitung discussion with the main candidates of the Austrian political parties, Reinhold Lopatka (ÖVP), Andreas Schieder (SPÖ), Harald Vilimsky (FPÖ), Helmut Brandstätter (NEOS), Lena Schilling (Grüne). GIBS students had prepared questions on the topics of climate change, migration and the future of the EU, which were used as triggers for lively and confrontational discussions among the politicians. The following vote on who was the most convincing candidate was won by Helmut Brandstätter of the NEOS (see photo).
