IB Class of 2020

Due to the Covid19 Pandemic, the IBO had to cancel all external written components of their examinations for the May 2020 sessions. To provide students with valid and recognised IB results, the IB has marked student coursework in place of the examinations.

The results of the second cohort of Styrian IBDP graduates are impressive.

30% of GIBS graduates were awarded 40 points or more, one student was awarded 44 points.

In the IBDP the highest possible score is 45 points — only 0.4% of students worldwide achieve the perfect score, less than 10% score 40+ points.

Parallel to these high scores in the IBDP, the Austrian students also took the Reifeprüfung (Austrian National school leaving exam) and passed it with distinction.

We are very proud of our students’ performance, and we wish them all the best for their future.

Mag.a Ursula Schatz, IBDP Coordinator
