World Book Day 2026

GIBS celebrated World Book Day on April 24th where Year 1 students participated in different workshops, promoting books and reading. The theme this year is, “GO ALL IN!”, encouraging students to read books that match their interests and dive into them. The stations this year included reading and writing a book review, taking part in a scavenger hunt in the library, creating book-eaters, writing a class story and solving riddles. Our Year 1 students showed great interest and produced amazing book reviews and stories.

The active participation of our Year 1 students and the support from teachers and language assistants, made the World Book Day 2026 a successful and an enjoyable event for everybody!
