On September 26th, GIBS celebrated the European Day of Languages with two main events. The Year 1 classes had group workshops with Year 8 students who taught them English through various activities and games. At the same time the Year 2 classes had workshops with Year 7 students in the four other languages taught at GIBS: French, Latin, Russian and Spanish. In addition to that, the language café took place in the long break where GIBS students could share some words and phrases from their mother tongues with the rest of the GIBS community. It was brilliant to hear so many different languages spoken!
