Discovering the Austrian Parliament

The two Political Studies groups spent a day in Vienna on 21 May 2026 to get an insight into the workings of the Austrian parliament. We were guided through the building by the member of parliament Mr Kai Jan Krainer, who also answered all the students’ questions. After discussing the political issues of the day, we observed a plenary session of the National Council. We returned home with with a deeper understanding of the political system of Austria.
