Riegersburg – to the Castle and Back

On October 12th, the students of 3b met up in the main train station of Graz instead of at school to start their day at the Riegersburg. The history excursion gave us an insight into topics as diverse as the persecution of women maligned as witches, the dining habits of the nobility, the development of weapons, the architecture of the castle and its defensive structures. We also celebrated two birthdays and enjoyed the autumn sunshine on a great day out together as a class.
