Faszination Technik Challenge
The 7i students had the chance to showcase their project live last week in the Faszination Technik Challenge with 8 additional teams from the upper secondary school.
The project was developed in collaboration with AVL and the support of the Styrian Association for Education and Economics and allowed the students to use PreonLab simulation, a cross industry technology that allows an improvement of the efficiency of the products, a reduction of the costs and minimizes the time between the conceptual and final product.
The students had the opportunity to work with an advanced simulation software (PreonLab), changing the software parameters for data analysis, comparing the simulated data with the experimental data and adjusting the setup and experiment to maximise the efficiency of the experimental procedure.
Overall, an innovative project with a hands-on component, a strong collaboration with AVL and a great opportunity to understand the requirements to work in a MINT field.
