Oberton presents Haydn @ GIBS
Year 7 music students were treated to a chamber music concert on Friday, October 24th right in our own music room! The Oberton Octet were rehearsing for their upcoming performance, and students had the unique opportunity to sit in on their rehearsal and hear outstanding live music (specifically Haydn’s Divertimento in D). Oberton members also played some solo pieces on their instruments to demonstrate the range and versatility of each instrument. Students were able to ask many questions about the life of a professional classical musician.
