Naboj Junior Math Competition
On Friday the 21st of November 12 students from GIBS formed 3 teams of 4 to participate in the Naboj Junior Competition. In this competition students worked together on mathematical riddles and got new riddles whenever they solved one. Teams from all over Styria took part in the competition and we are proud to announce that Vincent Le (3b), Abhirami Doraiswamy (5c), Atharv Dekate (5a) and Adnan Hudson (5c) made a fantastic 5th place.
We are also proud of the 4b team (Johanna Mlacnik, Magdalena Svehlikova, Asmah Hosseini and Eiman Oliveira Da Silva) and the 4c team (Katharina Hatzl, Nora Zechner, Emil Faschinger and Balázs Kohegyi) who competed against lots of teams from a grade above them and managed to solve way more than the set goal of solving at least 6 riddles.
Altogether it was a morning full of working together, solving riddles, showing team spirit, being competitive and – most important – having fun!
