Leadership in Action-Empowering Education

GIBS Principal, Edda Berger-Cian had the honour of receiving an invitation to the Austrian Education Forum for the second time in a row, as one of only twelve principals of award-winning schools in Austria.

The forum brings together around 70 experts and leading decision-makers from education, politics, science, business, and the media to collaboratively address key topics shaping the future of education.

Through dialogue and innovative approaches, participants explore new perspectives, share best practices, and develop strategies for educational reform. The Minister of Education, Christoph Wiederkehr, was also present at the event.

This year’s theme focused on leadership in schools and kindergartens. Edda Berger-Cian was able to contribute best practices, challenges, and possible solutions from the GIBS community and her own leadership experience.

The results and insights from the forum will feed back into the Ministry of Education’s ongoing work and policy development.
