What is ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor)?
Located in southern France, ITER includes the world’s largest tokamak (magnetic fusion device), designed to prove the feasibility of fusion as a large-scale and carbon-free source of energy.
The 8i HL students joined a 90 minutes virtual tour that included a presentation on the ITER project and an immersive virtual tour of the ITER worksite.
