Catching Atoms in The Act
Dr. Ramasesha visited our school this week and introduced us to the dynamic quantum world of electrons, atoms and mknolecules. Dr. Ramasesha explained to the 6i and 8i students the use of ultrafast laser spectroscopy and how ultrafast processes drive the discovery of new materials and cutting-edge technologies, that shape our everyday lives.
Dr. Krupa Ramasesha is a chemist and research scientist at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, California. She is currently a Fulbright-NAWI Graz Visiting Professor in the Natural Sciences at the Institute of Experimental Physics, Graz University of Technology.
