Italian Tenor Paolo Scariano Records at GIBS

Students at GIBS recently enjoyed a unique and exciting musical experience when professional Italian tenor and Grosse Chance finalist Paolo Scariano visited the school to record vocals for his upcoming album.

During the recording session, held in the music room on the third floor, students were recorded singing the choir part of one of the most celebrated opera arias of all time, Puccini’s Nessun Dorma. Working alongside Paolo and a professional sound engineer, students gained valuable insight into the recording process and experienced firsthand the precision required in a professional studio environment.

Around 150 GIBS students will join Paolo Scariano and the Bel Canto Orchestra, conducted by GIBS parent Thomas Platzgummer, for a special concert in the Stefaniensaal on 29 November at 6:00 p.m.
