Lange Nacht der Chöre 2026

On May 13th, the Senior Choir took part in the renowned festival “Die lange Nacht der Chöre” in the old town of Graz. The choir performed in the beautiful Barocksaal des Priesterseminars and presented a short but highly enjoyable concert programme lasting around 25 minutes.

The evening brought together 44 different choirs from across the region, each presenting highlights from their repertoire to the public. The Senior Choir’s programme focused on songs about the many facets of youth and life, including themes such as love, friendship, and the value of living life to the fullest. The repertoire featured popular songs such as Let Her Go by Passenger, Vincent by Sarah Connor, We Are Young by Fun, The Nights by Avicii, and Viva la Vida by Coldplay.

The performance was a great success. The choir sang with great energy and enthusiasm and received fantastic instrumental support from Leon Muchitsch on the piano and Paul Samec on the cajón. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the dedicated singers of the Senior Choir for their commitment and musical passion, which made this memorable evening possible.
