3A in Vienna

This spring, class 3A embarked on an unforgettable two-day adventure to Vienna, filled with learning, laughter, and lasting memories. From the moment we arrived in Austria’s capital, the city welcomed us with its charm, history, and vibrant atmosphere.

One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to the Austrian Parliament, where we had the unique opportunity to take part in a Democracy Workshop. We explored the inner workings of government and got a firsthand look at how democratic decisions are made. Even more exciting was our meeting with Juliane Bogner-Strauss, a Member of the National Council. She warmly welcomed us with sandwiches, drinks, and—most importantly—insightful stories about her life as a politician. Her openness and honesty made a strong impression on all of us.

Our adventure continued with a visit to the ORF Center, where we got a behind-the-scenes look at the popular show “Dancing Stars.” Seeing the set live and learning how television magic happens was truly thrilling.

To take in the beauty of Vienna from above, we climbed St. Stephen’s Cathedral tower and were rewarded with breathtaking views of the city skyline. Later, we explored Vienna’s history and culture through a scavenger hunt that took us to the city’s most famous landmarks. This fun and interactive experience let us discover Vienna in a whole new way.

Of course, no school trip would be complete without some free time—and we made the most of it. Whether it was trying local snacks, shopping, or simply soaking in the city vibes, we enjoyed every moment together.

Our trip to Vienna was more than just a school outing—it was a time to bond, learn, and create memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

A big thank you to Mr Wetzlmair and Mrs Greimel!
