2abc Skiing and Snowboarding at Planneralm
The year two students were supposed to leave on Sunday the 15th of January to go on their ski week, but couldn’t, because of possible avalanches. Instead we stayed at school for three hours and then had to go back home. The next morning we left at 8.20, arriving at Planneralm in time for lunch. Those who were borrowing skis and other stuff went up to the shop to get it. Then everyone had lunch. In the afternoon we went skiing and snowboarding. There were three groups of snowboard beginners, one group of advanced snowboarders and three groups of skiers. The weather was really nice on Monday, but it wasn’t so nice on Tuesday. We always had an evening program. For example, our first evening was spent learning the rules for safe skiing. On Tuesday and Wednesday we went skiing and snowboarding, had lunch, went back on to the slopes, had supper and then had an evening program. On Thursday we were on the slopes again in the morning and afternoon. After dinner we had the talent show and then the disco. On Friday morning we left. We were rather late getting home, because one bus got stuck in the snow and had to be shovelled free. Altogether we had a great time and I thought it was really fun and I learnt a lot. We would all like to thank the teachers who went with us for the great ski week.
