Deutsch TREEmendous EXHIBITION…
It certainly lived up to its name! This year’s year 2 cross curricular project “TREES” provided again an excellent opportunity for different subject areas to work together. The project itself, although named “TREES”, doesn’t just concern itself with trees it allows such diversity of teaching to incorporate the different types of trees and leaves (Biology), the estimation and calculation of leaf area (Maths), tree stories and poems (English), blossoms and other flowers (Art) and the habitation of trees and trees as a sustainable building material (Crafts). Such diversity can be seen here in school until 14th December, on the first floor.
