Ask a Physicist – Gerhard Fritz-Popovski

Last week, the 3B students took part in a talk with Professor Gerhard Fritz-Popovski (Montanuniversität Leoben).  Professor Gerhard Fritz-Popovski talked about his research and presented some cool experiments: how can you make fibres that are naturally fluoresce or have magnetic properties. He also explained that his research about supercapacitors is already being applied to buses currently used in Graz.
