Deutsch School Sports Day in Hartberg
Year three classes braved the weather!
Early on stormy and rainy October 7, 2011 3a, 3b and 3c set out for the Bundesschulzentrum Hartberg which hosted the 12th School Sports Day. Students from all over Styria met and had the opportunity to find out about and try out a variety of sports. All activities were organized by Styrian sports clubs and associations.
Unfortunately the weather was not very “cooperative” and all activities had to be moved inside to the gym. But neither the bad weather nor the masses of students in the gym could spoil the party, and after a lot of activities like acrobatics, judo, trampoline jumping, fencing or baseball all students ”got awarded” with free drinks, apples and Schnitzel rolls by the Austrian Military Corps.
While most of our students were enjoying their well-deserved lunch packages, some even dared to step up the stage and participate in the karaoke show.
So despite the adverse conditions we had a great day out and a lot of fun.
